Why we chose this

Many PwP find that bending to retrieve a dropped item, or reaching overhead without losing balance, becomes one of those quietly difficult daily moments. The Folding Reacher addresses both ends of the problem in one tool, and the fold matters practically: it travels with you and stores anywhere. The rotating claw is a genuine design advantage - less arm repositioning, which is meaningful when shoulder range is limited.

Good to know

  • Folds to 18" for easy storage in a wheelchair bag or walker basket.
  • Hinge locks automatically when fully extended.
  • Lifts up to 5 lbs.

Package Quantity

Pick it up - whatever it is, wherever it landed. The Vive Folding Reacher Grabber adds 32" of reach to retrieve dropped items, pull things from high shelves, or reach behind furniture, without stooping, stretching, or straining. When you're done, a simple push-button hinge folds the arm in half to just 18" - compact enough for a wheelchair bag, a walker basket, or a bedside drawer.

The rotating 4" claw turns 90 degrees so you can approach from exactly the right angle without repositioning your arm. Rubberized non-slip lining means it grips precisely enough to pick up a coin. The ergonomic handle is lightly padded and contoured to work comfortably in either hand, and locks securely open when in use.
