Neck stiffness and shoulder tension are among the most common physical experiences for people living with Parkinson's, making a dedicated neck and shoulder pack a natural addition to our Hot & Cold Therapy range. What sets this apart for our community is its complete simplicity - there are no straps, clasps, or velcro to manage. The pack drapes in place by its own weight, making it fully usable with no dexterity required. The flexible silica gel holds its contoured shape over the neck whether warm or frozen, and the 22" width extends across both shoulder blades for broad coverage from a single, easy-to-apply piece.
The Arctic Flex Neck Ice Pack is a flexible silica gel pack designed to drape over the neck and shoulders for hot or cold therapy. The pack sits across the neck and drapes over the shoulder blades without fastening - simply lay it in place. At 22" wide, it provides broad coverage across the neck and both shoulders.
The latex-free vinyl stays soft and pliable when fully frozen, so the pack conforms to the natural contour of the neck rather than sitting rigidly. For cold therapy, freeze the pack flat for at least two hours - it stays cold for approximately 30 minutes. A towel or layer of clothing between the pack and bare skin is recommended when the pack is freshly frozen. For heat, microwave in 15-20 second increments until warm; do not exceed 150°F.
Filled with nontoxic silica gel, the pack is reusable and tear-resistant with sealed seams to prevent leaks. To clean, wipe with a soft cloth - do not submerge in water. Available in medium and large.
Place the ice pack in the freezer for at least 2 hours, and apply the ice pack for 15-20 minutes at a time. The clay interior retains cool temperatures for longer.
