Why we chose this

The Sunstride fills the gap between a rollator and a transport chair: it functions as a wheeled walking support but adds a padded seat for when rest is needed mid-outing. For PwP managing fatigue or unpredictable mobility windows, the ability to sit down on the rollator itself - rather than searching for a bench or asking to stop - preserves both energy and independence. The under-seat storage bag is a practical inclusion: everyday items stay reachable without stopping to retrieve a separate bag.

Good to know

  • The 1-year frame guarantee is shorter than the lifetime guarantee on the 3-wheel rollator also in this catalogue - worth noting for long-term purchase decisions.
  • The 17.5"x9.5" seat is on the narrower side; users who need a wider seat should check dimensions before ordering.
  • Seat height is fixed at 21" - works well for most average-height users but may feel low for taller individuals.
  • The rollator does not include a backrest; users who need lumbar support while seated should factor this in.

Color

The Sunstride Rollator is a four-wheel walker with a built-in padded seat - the key distinction from a standard rollator design. The 17.5"x9.5" padded seat, positioned at 21" height, gives a reliable place to rest during longer outings without needing to find a chair or bench. Handle height adjusts from 31" to 36" in one-inch increments with push-pin locking.

At 20 lbs with a folded width of 10 inches (10"x20"x32"), it loads into vehicle backseats and car boots easily. Ergonomic locking hand brakes on both sides control speed on inclines and hold the rollator stationary when seated. An included storage bag (15"x13"x3.5") sits underneath the seat and carries a day's worth of essentials.

300 lb weight capacity. Available in Red, Black, Blue, and Pink. Backed by a 1-year Vive guarantee.
