Arthritis Gloves with Grips
Losing purchase on a smooth glass or a phone is one of the small, repeated frustrations that adds up over a day, and a textured palm is a genuinely simple answer to it - the grip comes from the glove rather than from squeezing harder. We chose this pair specifically because the fingertips are left open: full-finger gloves cover exactly the part of the hand you need for buttons, zips, and cutlery, and losing that feel is a real trade-off. These give you the added grip and the gentle compression without giving up fingertip touch. They are also light and breathable enough to stay on through the day rather than being something you put on for a task and take off again.
- These are the open-finger counterpart to our Full Finger Compression Gloves - the open style keeps the fingertips free for fine tasks, while the full-finger version covers the whole hand if warmth matters more than feel.
- Sizing goes by circumference around the knuckles rather than a glove size, so a quick tape-measure check beats guessing.
- Tip: Many PwP find that pulling a snug stretch glove on is the fiddly part; working one finger opening at a time and easing the cuff up last is easier than trying to get the whole hand in at once.
- Hand wash cold and air dry only — since they cannot go in the dryer, a second pair is useful for wash days.
These fingerless gloves do two things at once: they hold the hand in gentle all-over compression, and they put a grippy surface between your palm and whatever you are holding. The fingertips stay open, so you keep the feel of what you are touching - useful for buttons, cutlery, and picking up small things.
The palm and inside of the fingers are lightly textured with a non-slip composite. That is the part that matters on smooth surfaces: a drinking glass, a phone, a tablet, a door handle. The finger openings are cut short enough to leave the fingertips clear while still keeping compression across the knuckles and the back of the hand.
Made from a cotton, spandex, and polyester blend that stretches to the shape of the hand and breathes rather than trapping heat, so they are comfortable to leave on. Minimal seams and reinforced stitching keep the inside smooth against the skin. Sold as a pair in three sizes by knuckle circumference. Hand wash cold and air dry only - do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Grips smooth items — glasses, phones, tablets, handles — with a non-slip textured palm and finger surface
- Leaves the fingertips open so you keep touch and feel for fine tasks
- Applies gentle all-over compression across the knuckles and back of the hand
- Stretches to the shape of the hand in a breathable cotton, spandex, and polyester blend
- Stitched with minimal seams to keep the inside smooth against the skin
- Comes as a pair in three sizes by knuckle circumference (6–7", 7–8", 8–9")
Measure around the knuckles of your dominant hand with a tape measure and match that against the three sizes before ordering. To put them on, ease each finger into its opening one at a time and pull the cuff up over the wrist last - trying to push the whole hand in at once is the harder way round.
The textured surface sits on the palm and the inside of the fingers, so it works best with the palm making contact - wrapping the whole hand around a glass rather than pinching it with the fingertips. They can be worn for as long as they stay comfortable; if the hand feels tight, tingly, or cool, take them off and go a size up.
Hand wash in cold water with mild soap and air dry flat. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, or bleach - heat degrades the stretch and the textured composite.
