The non-slip outer base keeps the cushion stable during seated use - the swivel activates when you choose to rotate. Place on seat with non-slip base down. Sit first, then rotate using the swivel to face your preferred direction. Repeat in reverse when standing. To clean: unzip and remove cover, machine wash cold, hang dry.
