Knee Compression Ice Wrap
This is the knee counterpart to the Compression Back Ice Wrap we already carry, and we chose it for the same reason: the air chamber does the work that straps normally have to. A few pumps set the pressure by feel and the release valve lets it off in seconds - noticeably kinder on the hands than pulling four straps tight and holding them there. Being reversible matters more than it sounds; there is no left or right version to sort out, and the pockets mean the gel packs come out for the freezer without unthreading anything. If you’d rather have nothing to pump at all, our Vive Knee Ice Wrap covers the same three-pack layout with straps only.
- The air chamber sits at the front of the wrap and covers the two front gel packs only - there is no compression behind the knee, so the back of the joint doesn’t feel squeezed while seated.
- The hand pump takes a repeated squeeze to inflate; many PwP find it easier to pump with the wrap resting on a table or lap before fastening it on.
- Freeze the gel packs for at least two hours for cold; for warmth, heat in short 5-second bursts, kneading and checking the temperature between each one, and keep a thin layer of fabric between the pack and bare skin.
- Sessions of around 15–20 minutes are what the packs hold their temperature for. Spot clean only — this one isn’t machine washable.
The Vive Compression Knee Ice Wrap pairs hot or cold gel therapy with adjustable compression around the knee. Three Arctic Flex gel packs slot into pockets - two across the front and side, one behind the knee - so the joint is covered front and back in a single session. The packs stay flexible when frozen so they contour to the knee, and the same packs can be gently warmed if you’d rather have heat.
Compression is set with a PVC air chamber built into the front of the wrap and a removable hand pump: a few squeezes add pressure, and the release valve lets it off in seconds. Four hook-and-loop straps - one top, one bottom, and two across the middle - hold the wrap in place, and it reverses, so the same wrap works on the left or right knee with no separate version to keep track of. A small anchor strap tucks the 24.25” rubber hose out of the way when you’re moving around.
The wrap measures 35.25” x 10” and fits knee circumferences up to 21”, one size. Made from a soft neoprene blend; latex-free. Includes the wrap, three gel packs, hand pump, and anchor strap. Spot clean with a damp cloth and air dry.
