Why we chose this

What distinguishes this from most knee ice wraps is the rear gel pack pocket - covering the back of the knee is something most wraps don't do, and it makes a real difference for comprehensive thermal therapy after activity. One reviewer uses it almost daily and called it their favourite knee ice pack ever; another purchased one for themselves after borrowing a family member's extensively-used pack. For PwP who rely on thermal therapy as part of a daily routine, this is a standout choice.

Good to know

  • The gel packs should never be placed directly on skin - always keep them inside the neoprene wrap during use.
  • Each session provides approximately 15–20 minutes of effective temperature therapy before packs need to be re-frozen or reheated - worth planning around if a longer session is the goal.
  • Brace fits knees up to 21" in circumference; measuring around the kneecap before ordering confirms fit.
  • Gel packs are not sold separately, so handling them carefully extends their lifespan.

Knee stiffness and joint discomfort are daily realities for many people with Parkinson's, particularly after extended sitting or following active movement. The Vive Knee Ice Wrap provides comprehensive coverage with three non-toxic gel packs - two at the front of the knee and one behind - so both the kneecap and the back of the joint receive thermal therapy simultaneously.

The gel packs can be frozen for cold therapy or heated by microwave or stovetop, providing up to 20 minutes of targeted temperature therapy per session. Hook-and-loop straps secure the wrap to any adult knee up to 21" in circumference on either leg. The brace can also be worn without gel packs as a standalone compression wrap.

Machine-washable (remove gel packs first; hang to dry). Latex-free. Three reusable non-toxic gel packs included. Includes a 60-day guarantee.
