Walker Basket Standard
Walking with a frame means both hands are occupied, so anything you want to carry has to travel on the walker. We chose this basket for two details that matter more than they sound: the front pockets are open mesh rather than zipped, so retrieving a phone takes one movement instead of a fiddle with a zip pull, and the interior elastic loop holds a bottle upright so it isn't lying on its side leaking. The hook-and-loop straps also mean it comes off in seconds and doesn't interfere with folding the walker away.
- Worth having someone help with the initial fitting — the straps only need setting once, and after that the basket lifts on and off without readjusting them.
- Many PwP find open mesh pockets much easier than zipped ones, since retrieving a phone or keys needs no fine finger work.
- Check the basket sits high enough on the frame that it clears your feet and doesn't catch your stride.
- This is the standard size, suited to smaller and narrower walkers — measure your frame width before ordering.
The Vive Walker Basket Standard attaches to most standard walkers with adjustable hook-and-loop straps, so it fits front-wheeled and two-wheeled frames without tools and does not stop the walker folding. Inside, an elastic loop holds a water bottle upright rather than letting it roll about. Three open mesh pockets across the front keep a phone, keys or cards where you can see and reach them - no zips or clasps to work through. At 13.75" x 7.25" x 5" and well under a pound, it adds storage without making the walker feel bulky. Black polyester; wipe clean with a damp cloth and air dry.

Wrap the adjustable hook-and-loop straps around the walker's front crossbar or side uprights and pull snug so the basket sits level and clear of your feet. Check it does not obstruct folding the frame. Stand a bottle in the interior elastic loop rather than laying it flat. Keep loads light and evenly distributed, and avoid hanging additional bags from the basket. Wipe with a damp cloth and air dry - do not machine wash.
